What it covers
- Researchers on the platform by name, title, institution, department, research interests or keywords (people who blocked you, or whom you blocked, never appear).
- Papers: everything indexed on the platform by title, author, journal or DOI, with a one-click save to your library, plus a live search of PubMed, OpenAlex and Crossref when you need more.
- Projects you belong to and public or institutional projects; manuscripts and notes in your projects; groups you can see; academy courses, resources and posts; your own library.
How to use it
- Type at least two characters in the header box: the top hits per group appear as you type; ↑↓ moves, Enter opens the highlighted hit, and Enter on the first row opens the full results page.
- The results page shows every group with a count; a tab narrows to one group with a longer list, and the URL keeps your query so you can share or bookmark it.
- Recent searches are remembered on this device and offered on the empty search page.
Looking for a paper that is not on the platform yet? Use “Search PubMed, OpenAlex and Crossref” on the Papers section — results can be saved to your library straight away.
